Thai Spoons Restaurant
This was a school project where I was tasked with researching a pop-up restaurant near my location. The focus of the research was on elements such as their logo, business card, and menu that required improvement. Subsequently, I undertook the redesign of these three components for the Thai Spoons Restaurant. The objective was to provide the restaurant with a fresh appearance in its logo, business card, and menu while maintaining a cozy and welcoming aesthetic that aligns with the values of a family-owned establishment
Ideation
I developed a mood board and sketched some ideas for the restaurant logo, while also considering color choices.
Design
After carefully considering my options, I selected the font style 'Mr Sandsfort,' which, in my opinion, embodies the Thai character in my design. I incorporated a spoon connecting to the last letter, 'S,' to emphasize the restaurant's name. The choice of a spoon is not only related to the restaurant's name but also captures the essence of its ambiance. This distinctive logo sets the restaurant apart from others in the Thai cuisine space.

For the color scheme, I opted for yellow in the logo and dark green for the background to evoke a warm and inviting atmosphere. The combination of these two colors, with yellow representing warmth and green providing a cool tone, creates a harmonious and balanced appearance that aligns with the traditional Thai restaurant aesthetic
